Terms of service

How buying, renewing and holding a domain through Nymwell works, including auto-renew and refunds.

Draft for review

These terms (version 2026-10-26) are a working draft and have not yet been reviewed by counsel. The operating entity, contact address and governing law will be added before general launch.

What Nymwell does

Nymwell registers, renews, transfers and manages domain names for you as a reseller of Name.com, Inc., an ICANN-accredited registrar. The registrar’s Registration Agreement and ICANN’s Registrant Rights and Responsibilities apply to every domain, alongside these terms.

You hold your domains

The registrant you enter in Billing is the legal holder of every domain you buy or transfer in. Keep it accurate: the registrar emails that address to verify it, and a domain whose registrant is not verified within 15 days stops resolving. Nymwell never registers your domain in its own name.

Prices and payment

Every quote shows the price for the term and the renewal price before you pay, in US dollars; taxes, if any, are extra. You pay by card through Stripe. Nymwell never sees or stores your full card number.

Auto-renew and your saved card

When you pay, your card is saved so your domains can renew without interruption. Auto-renew is on for new domains: Nymwell charges the saved card for a one-year renewal starting 14 days before a domain expires and, if the charge fails, tries again 7, 3 and 1 day before and once in the grace period. You can turn auto-renew off for any domain or remove the card in Billing at any time; without a card, Nymwell only sends reminders.

Refunds

A new registration can be cancelled for a full refund within about 5 days of purchase (the registry’s add grace period), from the domain’s page. If the registrar refuses or reverses an order, Nymwell refunds it automatically. Renewals and completed transfers cannot be refunded once the registry has applied them, and premium domains are not refundable.

Transfers

Registries lock a domain against transfer for 60 days after registration or a transfer. After that, you can request the authorization code from the domain’s page; it is shown once to the person who approves the request.

Agents and API keys

You are responsible for what your API keys and AI agents do within the scopes you grant. Payments, ownership changes, deletions and changes that affect traffic always need a signed-in person’s approval or payment.

Acceptable use

Do not use Nymwell or your domains for unlawful activity, abuse, phishing or malware. Nymwell and the registrar may suspend a domain as required by registry, ICANN or dispute-resolution (UDRP) policies, or by law.

Changes

When these terms change in a way that matters, the console asks you to accept the new version before your next registration or transfer.
